Now Beats audio should work as before; however, each time you change the equalizer settings, you have to close any media players running and restart them again to get the desired sound. Also, on the left side in Beats Audio where it says Music, Movie etc..
They may not work at higher sample rates. For microphones, If you set up the sample rate too high, you may not be able to actually record sound even though windows sound meters will show that mic is receiving sound–the recordings will be muted. Sorry to hear that it did not work for you.
