Despite warning bells ringing all over the place, including even expressing my concerns in my previous post of yesterday, I was driven by the inseparable sins of stupidity and impatience to try something anything!
However, the good news: my Inbox synced for the first time in 3 days!!!! The worse news, if that were possible, was that not only did all the folders vanish in Outlook but the labels were quickly vanishing in G-mail.
I will probably go back to Outlook , once I am pretty sure that their original data files have not been corrupted. Thankfully, Outlook created a new data file. I made several mistakes and have learnt several invaluable lessons, which I would like to pass on:.

But it looks like I gave you little information.
