In reply to John Ado’s post on October 4, I went to control panel, left clicked, selected ‘change’, then selected ‘quick fix’, and a loading screen popped up that said Office was repairing and it shouldn’t take long. From further research I’ve noted it has taken on average hours for these repairs to be made.
In my case, however, this loading screen has been up for nearly four days. I’ve tried to end the repair but to no avail. I’ve turned my laptop off and on and, once again, no results.
I cannot uninstall it until the repairs are finished, so that option is out of the question unless there is another way I am unaware of.
